If content is king, marketing is queen: promoting the use of statistics

Abstract

NSOs have traditionally focused their efforts on producing high quality statistical estimates and knowledge products. Now, in an era of data deluge or data saturation, NSOs must put greater efforts into promoting their products to distinguish them from the variety of other data products. This presentation will discuss some of the options that NSOs might consider to market and showcase their work, in a way that can assist both public officials and civil society, to inform their decisions.
