Abstract
Politicians try to use numbers to backup their narrative facts, this is flouted by the way they allude their numbers presentation as they call it "Statistics" , The case of South African politicians turn to be different The introduction of Mathematical Literacy as defined within the South African Curriculum has created the doubts in the understanding of statistics presented to politicians by their advisors prior their (politicians) own understanding of statistics.
