Abstract
In the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) framework SDG 16 “Peace Justice and Strong Institutions” is meant to understand the extent of progress on peace, justice and inclusion achieved at national, regional and international level. Despite its crucial role, issues related to methodology, data availability and comparability still need to be further addressed. Given the nature of the phenomena measured by SDG 16, there is a need to integrate administrative data with survey population data, as well the use of estimation method. The paper will present the Italian experience in addressing the goal16 meaurement.
