Abstract

This talk will be about using flexible cloud infrastructure to deliver official statistics and empowering analysts at Statistics Canada. We will discuss on the first cloud native processing system put into production at Statistics Canada: Frontier Counts. We will cover not just the infrastructure but also the collaboration between subject matter analysts, data science and IT that enables this project to succeed. We will also cover the lessons learnt and how we are now applying them to new cloud native projects at Statistics Canada.
