Course content	Fundamentals of Machine Learning (ML) Review of machine learning methods and projects Natural Language Processing (NLP) ML in real-world applications (python libraries for text classification based on online real estate data)
Learning outcomes	Understand the basics of Machine Learning Gain knowledge on data pre-processing for ML-based classification Gain practical knowledge of implementing machine learning algorithms/models
Target group	Statisticians, methodologists, data analysts
Requirements	Sound command of English. Participants should be able to make short interventions and to actively participate in discussions Knowledge of programming in Python Basic knowledge of statistics Participant should have his/her own computer with Internet access
